The research and development (R&D) of the Superbike swingarm is a systematic process in which we investigate new constructions together with Chassis Factory. This process is essential for innovation, to remain competitive and meet the changing demands of motorsport.

Chassis Factory has the ability to compare torsional and lateral flexibility of a swingarm. The measurement (see graphs) was performed between the stock Kawasaki ZX10R swingarm and the Chassis Factory Superbike swingarm. The measurements have given us insight into the characteristics between the two versions. The design of the Chassis Factory Superbike swingarm results in 34% more lateral flexibility, which provides more grip at lean angles. The torsional stiffness has increased by as much as 45% compared to the standard Kawasaki swingarm. This results in increased handling when the motorcycle changes direction.
